Add Hypervisor Options for Hyper-V
When you configure a new hypervisor while creating a replication group, you must provide the information required for the Command Center to access the hypervisor.
Configure Infrastructure

For Select MediaAgent, select the MediaAgent that will be used to discover Hyper-V nodes.

This MediaAgent will be used to discover Hyper-V nodes and may also be used as a Network Gateway.
Hyper-V options

Select vendor: Select Hyper-V.

Hostname/IP address: Enter the fully qualified domain name or IP address of the hypervisor.

Hypervisor name: Enter a descriptive name for the hypervisor.
To provide access to the hypervisor, choose one of the following:
- Enter credentials

For Username and Password, enter the user credentials that provide administrative access to the hypervisor.

Use saved credentials

In Credentials, select a credential from the list of available credentials.

The listed credentials are applicable to this hypervisor.
Note
To create a new credential with a Windows account type:

Click Create new next to Credentials.

Enter the name of the new credential.

Enter the user name and password required for administrative access to the hypervisor.

Discover nodes: Click to display a list of discovered nodes, then select the nodes on which to install the Virtual Server Agent.

For a Hyper-V cluster, or to use Changed Block Tracking for Hyper-V 2012 R2, select all nodes in the Hyper-V cluster.
