Add a Repository Group for GitLab

Create a repository group to specify the content to back up.

Procedure

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > DevOps.

    The Overview page appears.

  2. Click the DevOps tab.

  3. On the GitLab tab, click the GitLab app.

    The GitLab app page appears.

  4. On the Repository groups tab, click Add repository group.

    The Select Plan page appears.

  5. Select the backup plan to back up the applications.

    If you don't already have a backup plan that you can use, to create one, click the add buttonadd/plus button - gray - no border.

  6. Click Next.

    The Repository group name page appears.

  7. In Repository group name, enter a name for the repository group.

  8. Click Next.

    The Backup Content page appears.

  9. From the GitLab services list, select the service type—Deployments, Issues, Snippets, or Wikis.

  10. From the Groups or namespace list, to back up the services owned by groups, select Groups. To back up the services owned by the user account, select Personal.

  11. For Projects, specify whether to back up all groups and projects or only the groups and projects that you select.

  12. Click Submit.
