You can edit an access node for the NAS client. You can edit an access node at the protocol level or at the subclient level. An access node defined at the subclient level will take precedence.
Before You Begin
Ensure that your access node meets hardware specifications to back up the CIFS shares and NFS exports. For more information, see Hardware Specifications for Access Nodes.
Note
If IntelliSnap is enabled, make sure to add an access node with FS and MA packages
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.
The file servers Overview page appears.

On the Files tab, click the NAS file server.
The file server page appears.

Under Protocols, click CIFS or NFS.
The protocol page appears.

Do either of the following:

Add an access node at the protocol level

Click on the Configuration tab.

On the Access nodes tile, click the
icon. -
In the Edit access nodes window, select the access nodes from the list.
Note
After you select an access node, you can click Equivalent API and download or copy the JSON payload that you can use for REST API POST requests. By default, only admin users can see the Equivalent API option. To make it available to tenant users, enable the showEquivalentApiButtonForTenantUsers additional setting. For more information, see Showing the Equivalent API Button for Tenant Users.

Click Save.

Click on the Subclients tab.

Click on the subclient.

In the Overview tab, on the Access nodes tile, click the
icon. -
In the Edit access nodes window, select the access nodes from the list.
