Configure your Azure or AWS cloud accounts for which you want to estimate the total cost of ownership (TCO). Commvault software uses credentials configured in the Credential vault feature to fetch the assets (VMs) associated with your cloud account.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Monitor > TCO Assessment.
The Assets page appears.

In the top-right corner, click Accounts, and then Add.
The Add accounts window appears.

On the Azure and AWS tabs, select credentials of the accounts that you want to analyze.
You can also add credentials to fetch new accounts.
Steps to add credentials with STS assume role with IAM policy for Amazon Web Services

Click Create new, and then click Amazon Web Services
The Add credential window appears.

In Credential name, enter a descriptive name for the credentials.

In Role ARN, enter the ARN of the IAM Role in the AWS account.

If an external ID is specified in the IAM role trust policy, in the External ID, enter the value.

In Description, enter a description of the credentials.

Click Save.
Steps to add credentials with Access and secret key for Amazon Web Services

Click Create new, and then click Amazon Web Services
The Add credential window appears.

In Credential name, enter a descriptive name for the credentials.

In Access key ID, enter the access key ID.

In Secret access key, enter the secret access key.

In Description, enter a description of the credentials.

Click Save.
Steps to add credentials with Access key and Account Name for Microsoft Azure

Click Create new, and then click Microsoft Azure.
The Add credential window appears.

Enter the following information:

Credential name: Enter a name for the credentials that you are creating.

Account name: Enter the name of the Azure Blob Storage account.

Access key ID: Enter the access key ID of the Azure Blob Storage account.

Description: Enter a description of the credentials

Click Save.
Steps to add credentials with IAM AD Application for Microsoft Azure

Click Create new, and then click Microsoft Azure.
The Add credential window appears.

In Credential name, enter a descriptive name for the credential.

In Tenant ID, enter the tenant ID for the Azure account.

In Application ID, enter the application ID for the tenant.

In Application secret, enter the application password.
-
For Environment, select the Azure environment type.

In Description, enter a description of the credential.

Click Save.

Click Add.
