Add a snapshot storage entry for Google Cloud (GC) in the Arrays page.
Before You Begin
In the Google Cloud Portal, check that the VM instance properties display the correct API access scope for the VM. The Compute Engine Cloud API access scope must be Read Write.
Tip
To edit the API access scope, you must first stop the VM.
Start the Configuration Wizard

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.
The Infrastructure page appears.

Click Arrays.

On the Arrays page, click Add.
The General page of the Add Snap Array configuration wizard appears.

From the Snap vendor list, select Google Cloud.

In the Array name box, enter the management IP of the GCP.

For credentials, do one of the following:

From the Saved credentials list, select the existing credentials you want to use.

To add new credentials, click Create new
.The Add credential dialog box appears. The Account type, Vendor type, and credential vault will be auto-populated.
a. From the Authentication Type list, select Access & Secret Keys.
b. In the Credential name box, enter a name for the credential.
c. In the Access key ID box, enter the access ID of the snapshot storage.
d. In the Secret access key box, enter the secret key to access the snapshot storage.
e. In the Description box, enter the description for the credential.
f. Click Save.

Click Next.
The Array Access Nodes page of the configuration wizard appears.

Add an array access node if you want to use the secondary live snapshot for the backup copy operation or to add a MediaAgent to perform additional operations on the snapshot storage.

From the Available MediaAgents list, select one or more access nodes and then click OK.
- To select all the available MediaAgents as access nodes, click Select All.

To disable pruning, move the Pruning toggle button of the respective access node to the left.

To rearrange the selected access nodes, drag them upwards or downwards as required.

Click Next.
The Snap Configurations page of the configuration wizard appears.

Configure Snapshot Configuration Properties according to your needs.

Click Submit.
