You can add a service CommCell to the primary service CommCell to establish communication between them.
Before you begin

You must have the administrative management permission at the CommCell level.

You must be a member of the master user group on the service CommCell you are adding to the Global CommCell.

Verify that the computers associated with both the master CommCell and the service CommCell have a valid CA-signed certificate.

Start the configuration wizard

Log on to the Command Center associated with the primary service CommCell.

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Service CommCells.
The Service CommCells page appears.

Click Add.
The Service CommCell page of the Add Service CommCell wizard appears.
Add a service CommCell

In the Service CommCell Command Center URL box, enter the Command Center URL for the service CommCell environment.

In the CommCell display name box, enter a display name for the service CommCell.
Tip
The display name appears in the service CommCell list at the top of the Commvault Console page.
Set up authentication

To authenticate using SAML, do the following:

Move the Login using command center toggle key to the right.

In the Username box, enter your SAML username.

If the Login using command center option is not enabled, in the Username and Password boxes, enter the service CommCell user credentials.

Click Add.

If you registered using SAML, a new browser window will open and redirect you to the Identity Provider (IdP). Log on using your SAML account credentials.
Results
The service CommCell list appears at the top of the Commvault Console page. And, you can switch between the Command Center pages of the Global CommCell and service CommCells from the service CommCell list.

icon or the Commvault Console identified by the
icon.
