Adding Storage for Configuring Microsoft Azure for MySQL Instances

You can add Air Gap Protect, Cloud and Disk Storages for configuring Microsoft Azure for MySQL Instances.

You can use Air Gap Protect storage to configure Azure database instance.

Procedure

  1. Beside Storage, click the add button add/plus button - gray - no border, and then select Air Gap Protect.

    The Add Air Gap Protect dialog box appears.

  2. In the Name box, you can enter the name of the Air Gap Protect.

  3. From the Region list, select the storage region.

  4. Select an existing MediaAgent or add a New MediaAgent.

  5. Move the Use deduplication button to right, and then from the DDB MediaAgent list, select a deduplication database MediaAgent.

  6. Click Save.

You can use Cloud storage to configure Azure database instance.

Procedure

  1. Beside Storage, click the add button add/plus button - gray - no border, and then select Cloud.

    The Add cloud storage dialog box appears.

  2. From the Type list, select a cloud storage type.

  3. Click Save.

You can use Disk storage to configure Azure database instances.

Procedure

  1. Beside Storage, click the add button add/plus button - gray - no border, and then select Disk.

    The Add disk storage dialog box appears.

  2. In the Name box, you can enter the name of the disk storage.

  3. Add a Backup location. To add a backup location, do the following:

    1. Beside Backup location, click Add.

      The Add backup location dialog box appears.

    2. Select an existing MediaAgent or add a New MediaAgent.

    3. Select the Type of backup location - Local or Network.

    4. In the Backup location box, enter the path of the backup location.

    5. Click Add.

  4. Move the Use deduplication button to right, and then from the DDB MediaAgent list, select a deduplication database MediaAgent.

  5. Click Save.
