Use the AI and Analytics Applications license to protect and analyze data from supported analytics platforms while controlling how that usage contributes to your overall license consumption. This license applies to AI and Analytics workloads and helps you separate their usage from capacity-based licensing.
Important
When you have an AI and Analytics Applications license, the usage is excluded from capacity-based licensing. Without this license, the same usage is included in your capacity consumption.
How usage is measured
Usage is measured in terabytes (TB). The total usage includes the amount of data processed or protected across all supported AI & Analytics workloads.

Where to access the report
To view this report, in the License Summary Report, in the Other Licenses table, under License, click AI and Analytics Applications.
Current Usage Details table
This table displays the amount of capacity used per workload type.
To view detailed information for workload, license, or client, click on a link in any of the Current Usage tables. When you click on a link, the AI and Analytics Applications - current usage details report displays a filtered view of the data based on the workload, license, or client you selected.

| Client ID | The unique ID associated with the client. |
| Client | The name of the client computer. |
| Job ID | The unique ID associated with the job. |
| Workload ID | The unique ID associated with the workload. |
| Workload | The type of workload, such as Pinecone. |
| Instance ID | The unique ID associated with the instance. |
| Instance | The type of instance, such as database instance. |
| Backupset ID | The unique ID associated with the backup set. |
| Backupset | The name of the backup set associated with the client. |
| Subclient ID | The unique ID associated with the subclient. |
| Subclient | The name of the subclient associated with the backup set. |
| Storage Policy ID | The unique ID associated with the storage policy. |
| Storage Policy | The name of the storage policy that is associated with the subclient. |
| Used | The amount of capacity used for each job. |
| Company ID | The unique ID associated with the company. |
| Company | The name of the company that owns the client. |
| Plan | The plan that is associated with the subclient and the database. |
