If backup activity is disabled for a VM, scheduled and manual backup jobs will not run for that VM until backup activity is enabled at both the VM and subclient levels. To run an interactive backup job for a VM while its backup activity is disabled, add the bAllowInterectiveJobForDisabledVM additional setting at the company level.
Note
You can run a backup job for a disabled VM only from the VM level. Running backups from the VM group level is not supported.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Explore > Companies.

Click the company for which you want to add the additional setting.
The company details page appears.

On the Overview tab, in the Settings section, click Add.

In the Name box, enter and add the bAllowInterectiveJobForDisabledVM setting.

From the Category list, select CommServDB.Console.

From the Type list, select Integer.

In the Value box, enter 1.

In the Comment box, enter an explanation for the change.

Click Save.
