Backing Up a Hadoop Subclient On Demand

You can back up a Hadoop subclient on demand.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.

2. Click Hadoop.

3. Click on the Hadoop cluster which you want to backup.

   The cluster page appears.

4. Under Hadoop Apps, click HDFS or HBase.

   The app page appears.

5. Under Subclients, in the row for the subclient, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

6. For Backup level, select the backup type.

7. Click OK.
