Backing Up Kubernetes Clusters, Applications, or Virtual Machines On Demand

You can perform an on-demand backup for a Kubernetes cluster, applications, or virtual machine.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Kubernetes.

2. Follow the steps for the entity that you want to back up:

   • Cluster: On the Clusters tab, in the row for the cluster, click the action button , and then select Back up.

   • Application: On the Applications tab, in the row for the application, click the action button , and then select Back up.

   • Virtual machine: On the Applications tab, in the row for the virtual machine, click the action button , and then select Back up.

   • Application group: On the Application groups tab, in the row for the application group, click the action button , and then select Back up.

   • PersistentVolumeClaim: On the Application groups tab, in the row for the PersistentVolumeClaim, click the action button , and then select Back up.

3. Leave Incremental selected, and then click Submit.
