The backup plan that you select for the Kudu subclient manages scheduled backups. You can also perform on-demand backups of subclients at any time.
Staging Path
Backup operations stage data at the staging path that was defined while creating the instance. The recommended maximum size for the staging path is equal to the number of access nodes in the subclient multiplied by the size of the biggest table selected for backup. The staged data is cleaned up after a successful backup.
