Change job priority for VM backup jobs

You can change the priority of a running job to control the order in which jobs run.

Considerations
  • You must have permission to manage jobs.

  • You can change job priority only for VM Admin jobs, not for child jobs.

To change the priority of a VM Admin job, follow these steps:

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Monitor > Jobs.

  2. On the Active jobs tab, select the VM Admin backup job.

  3. Click Change job priority.

  4. In the New priority box, enter a value. Lower values indicate higher priority.

  5. Select which jobs to apply the change to:

    • All jobs

    • All selected jobs

    • All jobs for this client

  6. Click OK.
