Commvault Console - Disabling Active Management of a Service CommCell

You can discontinue the management of a service CommCell from the global CommCell.

Before You Begin

You must be a user in the master user group of the Commvault Console.

Procedure

1. From the Global Command Center navigation pane, go to Explore > Service CommCells.

   The Service CommCells page appears.

2. In the row corresponding to the service CommCell that you want to stop syncing, click the actions button and then click Disable active management.

   The Disable active management dialog box appears.

3. To confirm disabling of active management, do the following:

   1. Optional. Move the Force disable active management toggle key to the right.

      Important

      You should enable the Force disable active management toggle key only if your service CommCell is down or unreachable. Otherwise, do not enable this option.

   2. In the Type Pause to confirm field, enter Pause.

4. Click Pause.
