Configure auto-scaling for Azure Databricks access nodes by creating a scale configuration and assigning its server group to Databricks instances. Auto-scaling is enabled when you select this server group as the access node.
During backup and restore operations, Commvault dynamically creates and removes access nodes in the selected Azure region based on workload demand.

Multi-tenant environments
In multi-tenant environments:

Service providers can offer auto-scaling by using shared scale profiles.

Tenants can use a service provider's scale configuration or create their own.
Assign the scale configuration server group
When you configure a Databricks instance, select the server group that is associated with the scale configuration as the access node. To configure a Databricks instance, see Configure backups for Databricks.
