Use IP allowlists to restrict access to Commvault from specific IP addresses.
You can configure IP allowlists for the following scopes:

MSP companies

Managed companies
Configure an IP allowlist for an MSP company
Use this procedure to restrict access to the MSP company.
Procedure

From the Commvault MSP Portal, click Manage in the navigation pane.

Click Company details.

In the IP allowlist section, enable the toggle, and then click the edit button.

Enter one or more IP addresses, IP address ranges, or CIDR ranges. You can enter addresses in IPv4 or IPv6 format.
Examples:
- IPv4 address:
10.0.0.1 - IPv6 address:
2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334 - IPv4 CIDR range:
1.1.1.0/24 - IPv6 CIDR range:
2001:0db8:85a3::/64 - IPv4 range:
1.1.1.0 - 1.1.1.25 -
IPv6 range:
2001:db8::1 - 2001:db8::ffff -
Click the add button.

Click Save.
Configure an IP allowlist for a managed company
Use this procedure to restrict access to a managed company.
Procedure

From the Commvault MSP Portal, at the top of the page, click Manage all accounts.

Click Companies.

Click the company that you want to configure.

On the Overview tab, in the IP allowlist section, enable the toggle, and then click the edit button.

Enter one or more IP addresses, IP address ranges, or CIDR ranges. You can enter addresses in IPv4 or IPv6 format.
Examples:
- IPv4 address:
10.0.0.1 - IPv6 address:
2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334 - IPv4 CIDR range:
1.1.1.0/24 - IPv6 CIDR range:
