Configure a MongoDB Atlas API Key for the Commvault Access Node

Create a MongoDB API key that the Commvault access node can use to access the MongoDB Atlas data for backups and restores. Access nodes run backups and other operations.

When you specify the IP address of the access node for the API key, you can enter either a single IP address or an IP address range using Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) notation.

Before You Begin

You need the IP address of the server that you will use as an access node for Atlas.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the MongoDB Atlas portal.

  2. In the upper-left area of the window, from the Organization menu, select the organization.

    Tip

Click the leaf button MongoDBPortal_Leaf Button to navigate to the Organization home menu.
