Configuring Alert Details

You can configure alert notifications to notify the users about the backup locations that are ready for retirement.

Before You Begin

Procedure

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Monitor > Alerts.

    The Triggered alerts page appears.

  2. Click Alerts definitions, and then click Add alert definition.

    The Add alert definition page appears.

  3. Enter a name for the alert in the Alert name field.

  4. Select Ready to Retire MountPath(s) from the Alert type list.

  5. (Optional) To send individual email notifications within a single alert notification, move the Send individual notification toggle key to the right.

  6. Click Next.

  7. In the Template section, from the Template locale list, select the required language.

  8. In the Email subject option, specify the email subject.

  9. Specify the content of the email in the text box.

  10. Click Submit.
