Configuring Alerts for Office 365 Backup Health Report

You can access the Office 365 Backup Health Report and configure alerts for a client from the Reports page.

Procedure

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Monitor > Reports.

    The Reports page appears.

  2. Click Office365 Backup Health.

    The Office 365 Backup Health Report appears.

  3. In the table view of the client, click the setting icon above the column header Settings Menu Backup Health Report, and select Configure alert.

  4. On the General tab, fill out the alert criteria, and then click Add condition.

    1. Specify a Name for the alert.

    2. Choose the alert severity: Information, Warning, Critical.

    3. Specify the alert conditions using the options available in the two dropdown menus.

    Note

    Click Test Criteria to verify your conditions.

    Click Next.

  5. On the Notification tab, choose how the alert should notify you. You can configure an Email, Console alerts, a Windows event viewer, an SNMP, and an SCOM.

    • Email: Specify the To, Cc, Bcc (optional), and Email body details.

    • Console alerts: Define the text that appears in the Email body.

    • Windows event viewer: Enter the Description text.

    • SNMP: Enter the Description text.

    • SCOM: Enter the Description text.

    Click Next.

  6. On the Schedule tab, configure when and how often the alert should run, then click Submit.

    • Time: Specify a time for the alert.

    • Time zone: Select the appropriate time zone.

    • Frequency: Choose how frequently the alert should trigger.

    • Repeat: Enable this option to run the alert multiple times per day, and specify the repeat Hours and Minutes.
