Configuring the INFINIDAT Active-Active Replication Feature

To replicate data with the INFINIDAT Active-Active Replication feature, you need to configure the INFINIDAT array, and the Commvault software. In the Commvault software, add both arrays in Arrays page, and then set the snapshot configuration property for active-active replication.

Procedure

1. In the INFINIDAT array, configure active-active replication for the volumes that you want to replicate.

2. In the Commvault software, use the CommCell Console to configure a local storage array and a remote storage array. For the local and the remote storage arrays, do the following:

   1. Add the local storage array in Commvault software.

   2. Add the remote storage array in Commvault software.

      See Configuring the INFINIDAT Storage Array.

3. Verify the snapshot configuration properties of the local array, and make sure that the Do not create Active Active remote volume snapshot configuration property is disabled. See Editing the Properties of the INFINIDAT Array.
