Configuring the Primary Array for the Primary Remote Snapshot Feature

To create the relationship between the primary array and the remote array, edit the snapshot configuration property on the primary array.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.

   The Infrastructure page appears.

2. Click Arrays.

3. On the Arrays page, in the Name column, select the Hitachi Vantara.

   The Overview page of the array appears.

4. Under Configuration tab, in the Snap configurations tile, click Edit .

   The Edit configuration dialog box appears.

5. In the Edit configuration dailog box, do the following:

   • In the Create primary snap at the replication target site (CCI engines) box, enter the serial ID of the remote array. Use the serial ID of the physical array, and not the VSM name.

6. Click Submit.
