Create Replication Copy and Run Jobs

Air Gap replication copies are not added to system-created auto-copy schedules and should not be included in user-created auxiliary copy schedules.

Air Gap replication operates using a pull-based architecture. The Air Gap cluster initiates and controls auxiliary copy (replication) jobs based on its internal configuration and replication policies. Once replication is complete and the copy is synchronized, the cluster automatically isolates itself.

No manual scheduling configuration is required for Air Gap replication copies.

Complete the following steps:

  1. Create a secondary copy targeting the Airgap storage pool.
  2. Verify successful data transfer and isolation.

For more information, see Performing Auxiliary Copy Operation for a Storage Policy.
