Creating a Company

You can create a company (tenant) from the Commvault Console.

Start the Configuration Wizard

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Explore > Companies.

    The Companies page appears.

  2. Click Add company.

    The Add company wizard appears.

General

  1. For Company name, enter a unique name for the company.

  2. For Customer ID, enter a unique identifier to track the company within internal systems.

  3. For Website, enter the website URL of the company.

  4. For Provisioning country, enter the home country of the company.

  5. For Account type, select one of the following:

    • Internal: An internal-only account.

    • POC: Proof of concept account.

    • Production: Production account.

  6. Click Next.

Address

  1. Enter the address information for the company.

  2. Click Next.

Contact

  1. For Contact name, enter a contact for the company.

  2. For Email, enter an email address for the contact.

  3. Click Submit.

    The company appears on the Provisioning tab. After the provisioning process completes, the company appears on the Companies tab.
