Deconfiguring a MySQL Database Instance

You can deactivate an instance of the database by deconfiguring the instance. Deactivating an instance releases a license. After an instance is deconfigured, you can reconfigure it.

Procedure

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

    The database Overview tab appears.

  2. On the Instances tab, click the database instance for which you want to deconfigure.

    The instance Overview tab appears.

  3. In the upper-right area of the page, click Deconfigure.

    The Confirm deconfiguration dialog box appears.

  4. Click Yes.
