Deconfiguring an SAP HANA Database Instance

You can deactivate an instance of the database by deconfiguring the instance. Deactivating an instance releases a license. After an instance is deconfigured, you can reconfigure it.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The database Overview page appears.

2. Go to the Instances tab.

3. Click the instance you want to deconfigure.

4. On the upper-right area of the page, click the action button , and then click Deconfigure.

   The Confirm deconfiguration dialog box appears.

5. Click Yes.
