Deconfiguring a Sybase Database Instance

You can deactivate an instance of the database by deconfiguring the instance. Deactivating an instance releases a license. After an instance is deconfigured, you can reconfigure it.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The Overview page appears.

2. On the Instances tab, click the instance. To view only the Sybase instances, in the Type filter, select Sybase.

   The instance page appears.

3. In the upper-right area of the page, click the action button , and then click Deconfigure.

   The Confirm deconfiguration dialog box appears.

4. Click Yes.
