Deleting a Credential Vault

Use the following procedure to delete a credential vault.

Procedure

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Account > Security.

    The Security page appears.

  2. Click the Credential vault tile.

    The Manage credentials page appears.

  3. Click the Vault configuration tab.

  4. In the Actions column for the credential vault that you want to delete, click the action button Deleting a Credential Vault (1), and then select Delete.

    A message prompts you to confirm the deletion.

Note

If a credential vault is currently associated with one or more entities, it cannot be deleted. A message is displayed indicating that the credential is in use.
To view where the credential is being used, open the credential and review the Associations section on the Credential Details page. Remove the association from the relevant entity before attempting deletion again.
