Disabling the rate limiter policy

If you want to stop using a rate limiter policy, you must disable it at each configured level in the CommCell > company > user group hierarchy. If the policy remains enabled at any level in the hierarchy, it will continue to enforce according to that level’s rate limiter settings.

Note

You cannot delete a rate limiter policy.

Procedure

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to any of the following levels:

    • For the CommCell, go to Manage > CommCell.

    • For a company, go to Explore > Companies, click the company, and then go to the Overview tab.

    • For a user group, go to Manage > Account > Security > User groups, and then click the user group.

  2. Go to the Rate limiter policies section and disable the policy.

Results

  • If the rate limiter policy is disabled at the CommCell level and remains enabled at the company level, the policy configured at the company level becomes effective.

  • If the rate limiter policy is disabled at the company level and remains enabled at the user group level, the policy configured at the user group becomes effective.
