Enable snapshot backups of the Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP NFS or CIFS subclients.
Important
This procedure applies only when you use permanent access nodes. Snapshot backups are not supported with auto-scaleaccess nodes. If auto-scaling is enabled, the snapshot backup feature cannot be enabled.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.
The Overview page appears.

Go to the Files tab, and then click the file server.
The file server page appears.

To enable IntelliSnap backups for a CIFS subclient, go to the Protocols tile, and then click CIFS.
The CIFS Overview page appears.
To enable IntelliSnap backups for an NFS subclient, go to the Protocols tile, and then click NFS.
The NFS Overview page appears.

On the Subclients tab, click a subclient.
The subclient Overview page appears.

Go to the Configuration tab.

On the Snapshot management tile, move the Enable snap backup toggle key to the right.
The Snapshot management dialog box appears.

From the Engines list, select NetApp, and then click Save.
