Enable or Disable a Deduplication Database (DDB) Location for New DDBs

You can control whether a DDB location is used for hosting new deduplication databases.

When a location is marked as Disable for new DDBs, new storage pools will not create DDB partitions on that path. This allows you to control where new DDBs are created.

With this capability, you can disable specific DDB paths from being used for creating new DDB partitions. When a location is disabled for new DDBs, that path will not be selected when software processes, such as horizontal scaling or storage pool creation, automatically choose available paths for new DDB creation.

This setting affects only the creation of new DDB partitions and does not impact existing DDBs on that location.
