To set up the CommServe LiveSync feature, install the Commvault software on the production and standby CommServe hosts.
Important
For new Linux installations, Commvault stores installation binaries, application data, log files, and the registry in separate default locations.

Installation binaries are stored in
/opt/commvault. -
Application data is stored under
/var/opt/commvault.
The directory layout applies only to new Linux installations. Existing installations that are upgraded retain their current directory layout.
To complete the installation, perform the following tasks in order:

Install the production CommServe host.

Install the standby CommServe host.
