You can add new users or user groups, or remove user access for an existing Unified Data Vault. Users with S3 User role can access the vault for backup and restore operations.
Add Users to an Existing Unified Data Vault

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.
The Infrastructure page appears.

Click the Unified Data Vault tile.
The Unified Data Vault page appears.

Click the Unified Data Vault you want to manage.
The Unified Data Vault overview page appears.

Click the Configuration tab.

In the Security section, click Edit (pencil icon).
The Security dialog appears.

In the User/Group box, enter the username or user group name to search for a user or user group.

From the Roles list, select S3 User.

Click Add to add the user to the list.

Click Save.
Rotate User Keys
Regularly rotating access keys is a best practice to enhance security.

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.
The Infrastructure page appears.

Click the Unified Data Vault tile.
The Unified Data Vault page appears.

Click the Unified Data Vault you want to manage.
The Unified Data Vault overview page appears.

In the upper-right corner, click the sandwich button (three dots), and then click Rotate keys.
The Rotate keys dialog appears.

Review the confirmation message "Are you sure you want to rotate your key?"

Click OK to confirm the key rotation, or click Cancel to abort the operation.
If you clicked OK, new access keys are generated and the old keys are invalidated.
Note
After rotating your keys, update any applications or scripts that use the old access keys with the new credentials. The old keys will no longer be valid for authentication.
Remove Users from an Unified Data Vault

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.
The Infrastructure page appears.

Click the Unified Data Vault tile.
The Unified Data Vault page appears.

Click the Unified Data Vault you want to manage.
The Unified Data Vault overview page appears.

Click the Configuration tab.

In the Security section, click Edit (pencil icon).
The Security dialog appears.

In the User/group list, locate the user you want to remove.

Click the X (delete) button next to the user you want to remove.

Click Save.
