After you add a Snowflake application, you can modify its settings to change the backup plan, exclude the instance from SLA, configure a new subclient, or deconfigure the instance.
Go to the Snowflake application
-
From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > AI & Analytics.
-
Click the Snowflake application.
Configure instance-specific settings
These settings are used in specific scenarios and aren’t required for most environments.
-
Backup plan: On the Overview tab, select a different backup plan after you configure backups for Snowflake. For information about backup plan settings, see Backup Plans.
-
Exclude application from SLA calculations: On the Configuration tab, you can exclude a Snowflake application from SLA calculations for a period of time using various options, such as action pending from service provider and customer.
-
Subclients: On the Subclients tab, configure a subclient to backup and protect specific data in your Snowflake account at a particular time or frequency. You can define subclient contents at database, schema, or table level.
-
Deconfigure: Deactivate an instance by deconfiguring the Snowflake application. Deactivating an instance releases the license. If you deconfigure an instance, you can reconfigure it later.
