You can modify the list of Oracle RAC subclient content that is backed up.
Subclient Content
The subclient content can contain any of the following data:

Data and logs
-
Data only
-
Logs only
-
Data subset, for example tablespaces
-
Data subset and logs
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

On the Instances tab, click the instance.

To select a subclient, on the Subclients tab, click the subclient name.

In the Content section, click View/edit.

From the Backup mode list, select the type of backup for the subclient.

Depending on the backup mode you select, the following options may appear:
- If you select Subset of online database as the backup mode, a list of databases and database components appears. Select the components to back up.
- To support restore operations for individual tables, move the Collect table metadata toggle to the right.
- To back up the flash recovery area, select Backup flash recovery area.
- To skip components that are offline during a backup, select Skip offline.
- To back up the database logs, select Archive log backup.
- Under Edit archive log options, do the following:
- To use snapshots for log backup, unselect Use RMAN for log backup. This option only appears for a subclient that has enabled snapshot backups on the Snapshot management tile.
- From the Archive delete options list, select Archive delete or Archive delete all.
- To select archive log destinations for backup, move the Select archive log destinations for backup toggle to the right and select the locations.
- To select archive log destinations for delete, move the Select archive log destinations for delete toggle to the right and select the locations.

To change any of the backup arguments, in the Backup arguments section, click Edit and then modify the settings you want to change.

Click Save.
