Moving Media

You can move media between pools.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Storage > Tape.

   The Tape page appears.

2. Click the tape storage for which you want to move the media.

3. Click the Media tab.

4. Select the media that you want to move, click the Actions button , and then select Options > Move media.

   The Move media dialog box appears.

5. From the Destination pool type list, select the pool type.

6. From the Destination pool list, select the pool.

7. Click Save.

   The software moves the media to the specified scratch pool.
