Overriding Snapshot Properties of a Snapshot Copy

You can override the snapshot properties of a storage array and customize the snapshot properties of a snapshot copy.

When you override the snapshot properties of a snapshot copy, all clients and subclients associated to the snapshot copy are affected.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Plans.

   The Plans page appears.

2. In the Plan name column, select the backup plan to add the vault/replica or the mirror copy.

   The Overview page of the backup plan appears.

3. Go to Storage policies tab.

4. In the Copies area, click the snapshot primary copy.

   The Configuration page of the snap copy appears.

5. In the Snapshot Management tile, click the configured array.

   The Overview page of the configured array appears.

6. In the Configuration tab, in the Snap configurations tile, click Edit , and then override the properties that you want.

7. Click Submit.
