Perform a Test Backup and Restore of the Salesforce Organization

To verify that the Salesforce organization is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.

Back Up the Organization

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Salesforce.

   The Salesforce Overview page appears.

2. Go to the Organizations tab.

3. In the row for the Salesforce environment, click the action button , and then click Backup.

   The Backup options dialog box appears.

4. Select Full.

5. Click Submit.

Restore the Organization

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Salesforce.

   The Salesforce Overview page appears.

2. Go to the Organizations tab.

3. In the row for the Salesforce environment, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The Select restore type page appears.

4. Click Object level restore.

   The Backup content page appears.

5. Select the content, and then click Restore.

   The Restore options page appears.

6. Without changing the default values for any of the settings, click Run.

   The Confirm submit dialog box appears.

7. Click Confirm.
