Perform a Test Backup and Restore of the SharePoint Server

To verify that the SharePoint Server is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.

Back Up the Server

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Kubernetes > Applications.

2. Click SharePoint.

   The SharePoint page appears.

3. Click a SharePoint Server.

   The SharePoint Server page appears.

4. In the row for the default subclient, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

5. Select Full.

6. Click OK.

Restore the Server

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Kubernetes > Applications.

2. Click SharePoint.

   The SharePoint page appears.

3. Click a SharePoint Server.

   The SharePoint Server page appears.

4. In the row for the default subclient, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The Backup content page appears.

5. Select the check box for the backup.

6. Click Restore.

   The restore dialog box appears.

7. Click Restore.
