Performing an Auxiliary Copy Operation for a Backup Destination

You can perform auxiliary copy operation on demand for a backup destination.

Before You Begin

You must have Edit Plan, Delete Plan and Use Plan permissions.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Plans.

   The Plans page appears.

2. From the Plans list, click the plan for which you want to perform auxiliary copy operation.

   The Overview page of the plan appears.

3. Click the Storage policies tab.

   The Regions page appears.

4. To perform auxiliary copy operation for all copies in the region, complete the following steps:

   1. Click Action icon in the top right corner, and then select Run auxiliary copy.

      The Run auxiliary copy dialog box appears.

   2. Click Submit.

5. To perform auxiliary copy operation for a specific copy in the region, complete the following steps:

   1. Expand the region.

      The Copies section appears.

   2. Click Action icon for the copy, and then select Run auxiliary copy.

      The Run auxiliary copy dialog box appears.

   3. Click Submit.
