You can perform a full or incremental backup of Databricks metastore on-demand. You can back up a specific subclient (table group) or all subclients.
To back up Databricks metastores, follow these steps:

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > AI & Analytics.

Click the Databricks instance.

On the Metastores tab, for the metastores that you want to back up, click the action button
, and then click Backup. -
Select the backup operation.

Select the table groups, and then click Submit.
