You can perform backups without triggering recalls for Dell EMC VNX / Celerra by using the bEnableStubCheck_SubclientId additional setting, where SubclientId is the subclient ID for your Dell EMC VNX / Celerra subclient.
Note
This is an expected behavior for the Dell EMC VNX / Celerra archive instance. If you are backing up Dell EMC VNX / Celerra stubs using the Filesystem method, the corresponding registry key is required.
Procedure
To the proxy client computer, add the additional settings as shown in the following table.

Value set to true - will skip the stub check and avoid the recall

value set to false (default) - will not check whether the file is stub or not and hence, trigger the recalls.
