Performing an out Of Place Restore Using Command Center

You can perform an on-demand threat analysis on virtual machine (VM) backups during an out of place full VM restore operation.

Procedure

1. Perform an out of place full VM restore operation. During the operation, select the Run Threat Analysis option in the Restore Options page that appears.

   For instructions for individual hypervisors, see the VM protection documentation.

2. If the system finds a threat, you will receive a system alert as well as an email alert. Click the link in the alert or in the email to open the Threat Analysis Report.
