Performing Restore Operations for NDMP (In Place)

You can restore NDMP data to the same location that it was backed up from.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

   The file servers Overview page appears.

2. On the Files tab, in the row for the NAS file server, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The Restore dialog box appears.

3. Select the subclient, and then click Select content.

   The Backup content page appears.

4. Choose the content that you want to restore:

   • To restore the contents of the entire subclient, next to Name, select the check box.

   • To restore specific folders and files, find the folders and files:

     1. In the left area of the page, expand the folders until the folders and files that you want to restore appear in the table.

     2. Next to the folders and files, select the check box.

        Tip

        To view content from a specific date or date range, in the upper-right corner of the page, click Show latest backup.

5. Click Restore.

   The Restore options dialog box appears.

6. Leave the options to restore to the same file server location.

7. Click Restore.
