When you configure a recovery target for Hyper-V, specify the Hyper-V-specific values for the destination site.
General options

Name: Enter a name for the recovery target.

Recovery target name: Enter a descriptive name for the destination, for example, DR Site 1.

Destination client: Select the client that will host the recovered virtual machines.

Access node: Select a Virtual Server Agent (VSA) proxy to perform recovery operations.
Security
- Security: Select the appropriate security privileges to apply to the recovered virtual machines.
VM display name
Select one of the following options:
- Use original name
- Add a prefix to the VM name
- Add a suffix to the VM name
Destination options

Restore location: Select the destination location for the virtual machine.

Destination folder: By default, the Hyper-V host's default VM location is used. To restore to a different location, clear this option and browse to select a folder.

Register virtual machine with failover cluster: Select this option to register the virtual machine with a failover cluster, if applicable.

Network adapter: Select a network adapter from the list.
Test failover options
- Expiration time (in hours): Enter the duration after which the test failover virtual machine is automatically cleaned up.
Note
Hyper-V test failover is supported only for warm replication pairs.
