Renewing Test Failover VMs

You can extend the expiration time for VMs that failed over during a test failover operation.

Renewing test failover VMs is supported only for Amazon, Azure,Google Cloud, VMware, and VMware Cloud Director destinations.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Secure > Auto recovery > Failover groups.

2. In the Name column, click a failover group.

   The failover group page appears.

3. In the upper-right area of the page, click the action button , and then select View test failover VMs.

   The Virtual machines page appears.

4. For the VM that you want to renew, click the action button , and then click Renew.

   The Renew VM dialog box appears.

5. Beside Extend for, enter the number of hours you want extend the expiration time for the VM, and then click Submit.

   Note

   The duration of time for VM renewal depends on the expiration time set in the recovery target.
