Verify that the following requirements are fulfilled before you configure failover groups:

The source virtual machines in failover groups must meet the following conditions:

Configured for replication (Live Sync)

Already replicated
-
Running on Azure Resource Manager, Hyper-V, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or VMware

All of the VMs in a failover group must be from the same hypervisor.
