If the break-glass account password is lost or has been exposed to unauthorized individuals, it can be reset to restore secure access. A tenant admin can reset the password from the company details page.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Explore > Companies.

Click the Company name.

On the Overview tab, in the Break-glass account section, click Reset break-glass account.

To perform the operation, enter the 6-digit PIN from your authenticator app and click Continue.
If you haven’t set up the authenticator app, click Send PIN to Email to receive the 6-digit code in your inbox.

Click Reset break-glass account password.

When the Commvault software resets the password, you must copy and securely save the account credentials displayed on the screen.

In the box that is shown, type I have securely stored the credentials, and then click Proceed.
Results
All tenant admins of the company will receive an email notification for password change, including details of the tenant admin who performed the reset operation.
