You can restore the GitHub repositories to their current app (in place), or to a different app or a different repository hosting service (out of place), or to a disk.
Note
Repository restores to GitHub might fail for repositories with files exceeding 2 GB because GitHub limits pushes to 2 GB per file. To work around this limitation, configure Git LFS for large files, as GitHub does not impose size limits on Git LFS objects.
