Restoring an Entire Exchange Online Mailbox to Its Original Location

You can restore an entire mailbox to the location that it was backed up from. The restored items belonging to the deleted folders can be found in the Restored Items folder.

Procedure

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Microsoft 365.

    The Microsoft 365 Overview page appears.

  2. On the Apps tab, click the app.

    The Overview page of the app appears.

  3. On the Mailboxes tab, select a mailbox, and then at the right area of the page, click Restore > Restore mailbox.

    The Restore Options tool appears.

  4. On the Date and Time tab, specify the Recovery point date and time and click Next.

    The Destination tab appears.

  5. Leave Restore in place selected, and then click Next.

    The Review tab appears.

  6. Review the items you selected for restore, and then click Next to start the restore operation.

    The Summary tab appears.

  7. Click Close.
