You can browse and select files to restore from a backed-up HPE Morpheus VM Essentials instance.

Prerequisites
If a passkey is configured for restores, you must have the passkey.

Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Virtual machines.

On the Virtual machines tab, click the instance.

In the Recovery points section, click Restore.

Click Guest files.

Select the files to restore.

Click Restore.

Select the HPE Morpheus VM Essentials hypervisor and path to restore the files to.

To specify the user account to restore the files, enable the Impersonate user toggle key, and then enter the credentials for a user account that has permissions to create files in the destination path.
By default, the local system account on the destination hypervisor is used.

Specify the other settings.

Click Submit.
